Auditor

Overview

Auditor is a continuous case review system that runs nightly across all matters in your Eve workspace and surfaces medical, risk, and value-related signals that are easy to miss when managing dozens or hundreds of cases. Instead of manually re-reading intake notes, case summaries, and medical records, Auditor scans your case data and surfaces valuable findings with citations to source documents, increasing case value, reducing risk, and improving prioritization without increasing headcount.

How It Works

Auditor runs automatically every night across all matters loaded into your firm's Eve workspace. It reads the full case file in Eve — medical records, case notes, uploaded documents, and any other files associated with the matter — and analyzes them for findings that signal case value, risk exposure, or opportunities that require attention.

Results are updated automatically after each nightly run. Findings appear in two places: the cross-case dashboard (accessed from the left-side navigation panel under "Auditor") for portfolio-level review, and the matter-level Auditor page (accessed from the "Auditor" tab inside any individual matter) for deep-diving into a specific case's findings with evidence citations.

Real-World Example: A firm running Auditor had medical records come in on a matter. That same night, Auditor flagged a clear potential TBI. Instead of catching it 30 days later in a manual file review, the firm caught it immediately, routed it for attorney review, and fast-tracked it for litigation. The case became a seven-figure matter.

What Auditor Surfaces

Auditor identifies signals across five key areas:

1. What Busy Humans Miss

No attorney can re-read every intake note and medical record every week. Auditor runs nightly on every matter, which means a potential TBI flagged in a new medical record gets surfaced the same night, not discovered weeks later when the opportunity to act has narrowed.

2. Case Value Earlier

Most firms discover the true value of a case late, after bills have accumulated and strategy has already been set. Auditor surfaces value signals like high policy limits, undiagnosed conditions, and surgical candidates early in the lifecycle, so firms can escalate the right cases sooner, adjust reserves, and build demand strategy from a position of strength rather than reaction.

3. Risk Exposure

Auditor systematically checks for things like overlooked pre-existing conditions or failing to flag a bad fact across every matter, every night, so nothing slips through because a case didn't get its monthly review.

4. Case Prioritization

Not all cases need attention today. Auditor's cross-case dashboard makes it easy to filter and sort by finding type so a case manager can immediately see which matters have findings that need to be addressed.

5. Accountability Without Micromanaging

Instead of asking "what's happening on this case?", leadership can see case health directly in the dashboard. This shifts the dynamic from task tracking and status updates to visible, evidence-backed case intelligence.

Data Sources and Run Frequency

Auditor reads all documents and case information loaded into Eve, including medical records, case notes, and uploaded files. It runs every night across all matters in your workspace, and results are updated automatically after each run. The Medical Overview does not need to be run for Auditor to analyze a matter effectively.

Current Practice Area Support

The default field set is built for personal injury. Labor & Employment and other practice areas are on the roadmap. Firms with non-PI case types may still benefit from the default fields but should flag any gaps they encounter.

Key Terms

  • Finding: A specific signal surfaced by Auditor that indicates potential case value, risk, or a gap requiring attention, such as an undiagnosed condition or high policy limits.

  • Cross-case dashboard: The portfolio-level view of Auditor accessed from the left-side navigation panel, showing all matters in a filterable, sortable table with finding columns.

  • Matter-level Auditor page: The case-specific view accessed from the "Auditor" tab inside any individual matter, showing the full breakdown of findings with evidence citations.

  • Tell me more button: A button that appears on each finding in Auditor and opens a contextual chat with Eve, pre-loaded with that finding's context for deeper exploration.
