Overview

Exhibits in Eve let you attach supporting evidence like medical records, police reports, images, and PDFs directly to a drafted document and manage the exhibit packet from within Eve. Instead of assembling an exhibit packet outside of Eve by exporting a draft, downloading evidence files one by one, renaming and reordering files, and combining everything into a single packet, you can review, organize, and export a complete exhibit packet in the same place you are drafting.

How It Works

Exhibits function as a managed section within your draft. You can add exhibits when creating a new draft or add them to an existing draft that does not yet include exhibits. Once added, exhibits appear in the Table of Contents and can be reordered, edited, or deleted. Each exhibit can include details such as title, source, and page ranges — including multiple page ranges from the same exhibit document.

You can export your work in three formats: demand letter only (DOCX), exhibits only (PDF), or combined export (PDF). The combined PDF export packages the draft and exhibits together in a single file.

Exhibits support an unlimited number of files, but the combined total size across all exhibits must be no more than 10,000 pages.

Common Use Cases

The primary use case for Exhibits is managing exhibit packets for pre-litigation demand letters. Other common uses include:

  • Settlement packets

  • DIME packets (consolidated exhibits of medical records for an independent medical examiner)

Litigation workflows often require Bates numbering, which is not supported in the current release. You can still add exhibits to drafts for litigation use cases, but Bates numbering must be handled outside the product.
