Agent Library in Eve
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Overview
The Agent Library is Eve's catalog of prebuilt agent templates. It is where a firm picks up a working agent instead of building one from scratch. Open it from Agents in the sidebar, then Eve Agent Templates at the top right. The Agent Library is available to Firm Admins.
For what an agent is and what the different types produce, see 📄 Agents in Eve.
What Is in the Library
Ready-to-run agents arrive with their instructions already written. One of these works as it is from the moment it is added. but every part of the agent is editable once the agent is in your firm's list.
How the Library Is Organized
Pre-built agents are grouped by practice area:
General, for work that is not tied to one practice area.
Personal Injury
Labor and Employment
SSD, for Social Security Disability work
The grouping describes what a template was written for, not what it's limited to. A general agent will run on any matter, and a template from one practice area can be edited into something another practice group uses. You can manually edit the agent's instructions, or ask Eve to help you change them.
Adding a Template
Select the agent, then "Add Agents" to add it to your account. The agent appears alongside the agents your firm built, and can be run from a matter.
After an Agent Is Added
From that point it behaves like any other agent your firm owns:
Edit the instructions to match how your firm works. See 📄 How to Edit Agents in Eve.
Add a tag so the right people can find it. See 📄 How to Organize Agents with a Tag in Eve.
Set visibility, either private or shared with your firm.
Put a trigger on it to run it automatically. See 📄 How to Configure Trigger Conditions for Auto Agents.
A template added and left alone runs on Eve's instructions rather than your firm's. Editing it is what turns a starting point into the way your firm does that task.
