Auditor
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Overview
Auditor reads every matter in the workspace overnight and surfaces findings: medical, risk, and value signals that sit in the file without anyone having flagged them.
It runs on its own. Nothing needs starting, and a Medical Overview does not need to have been run for Auditor to read a matter.
What It Reads and When
Auditor runs nightly across every matter in the workspace, reading the full case file in Eve: medical records, case notes, uploaded documents, and anything else attached to the matter. Results refresh after each run.
Where Findings Appear
The cross-case dashboard, from Auditor in the left navigation. Every matter in one filterable, sortable table, with findings as columns. This is the view for deciding which cases need attention today.
The matter-level page, from the Auditor tab inside a matter. The full breakdown for that case, with each finding citing the document behind it.
Each finding carries a Tell me more control that opens a chat preloaded with that finding's context, for following a signal without rebuilding the question.
What a Finding Covers
Value signals, such as high policy limits, an undiagnosed condition, or a surgical candidate. These matter most early, while strategy and reserves can still move.
Risk signals, such as an overlooked pre-existing condition or a bad fact nobody flagged.
Gaps, such as documentation or follow-up that has not happened.
Every finding cites the source document, so a finding can be checked rather than taken on trust. That matters most on the findings that would change what a firm does.
Practice Area Support
The default field set is built for personal injury. Labor and employment and other practice areas are on the roadmap. Firms working non-PI case types can still use the default fields, and gaps are worth reporting to help influence the future Labor & Employment release.
What Auditor Does Not Do
It does not act on what it finds. Auditor surfaces the signal. Doing something about it is an agent, or a person. See 📄 Agents in Eve.
It does not diagnose. A flagged condition is a signal in the records worth a person reading, not a clinical conclusion.
It only reads what is in Eve. Records that have not been uploaded or synced cannot produce a finding.
It does not run on demand. Findings refresh on the nightly pass, so a document uploaded this afternoon is reflected tomorrow.
