How to Log Into Eve for the First Time

Overview

Eve is a web application accessible at app.eve.legal. There is no download and no desktop install. Accounts are not self-serve. A firm admin invites you by email, and the link in that invitation is what sets your password and activates the account.

Before You Start

An invitation email from a firm admin at your firm.
Access to the inbox the invitation was sent to.

Steps

Open the invitation email. Look for an email inviting you to join Eve. If it is not in your inbox, check spam and junk before asking for a resend. Expired and missing invitations are covered in 📄 User Invitation Link Expired or Missing in Eve.
Click the link in the email. This opens the password setup page.
Set your password. The password must be at least 8 characters and include at least 1 special character, at least 1 letter, and at least 1 number.
Activate the account. After the password is set, a second email arrives to activate the account. Once it is activated, you can log in.
Bookmark the login page. Save app.eve.legal so you can get back to it without searching.
