Overview

Case Management System (CMS) integrations connect your existing case management software to Eve so that matters and documents are automatically synced without manual input. When enabled, these integrations create matters in Eve based on cases opened in your CMS, pull in associated documents, and trigger AI-powered workflows like summarization and medical chronologies. Eve integrations are read-only by default, meaning your CMS remains the single source of truth and no data is written back.

How It Works

Eve integrates with your case management system through secure API connections that sync data on a nightly basis. When a new case is created in your CMS, Eve can automatically create a corresponding matter and ingest the associated documents stored in your CMS. This automation eliminates manual data entry, reduces human error, and ensures case information stays consistent across systems.

Integrations operate in parallel with your existing workflows without modifying data in your CMS. Data syncs occur automatically overnight, but you can also initiate a manual sync from any matter in Eve to pull in the latest documents immediately.

You can configure which matters or document types are eligible for syncing based on folder structure, tags, fields, or other criteria, depending on the integration. This gives you control over what data is shared with Eve.

Key Terms

  • Supported Systems: Eve currently integrates with Clio, Litify, SmartAdvocate, and Growpath. Custom OpenAPI-enabled integrations are also available for proprietary or unlisted systems.

  • On-demand Matter Creation: Matters are created in Eve but only activated when you choose to do so, giving you full control over when AI workflows begin.

  • Sync Matter Creation: Matters are automatically created and activated whenever a new case is opened in your CMS, enabling immediate AI processing without manual intervention.

  • Read-Only Integration: Eve does not write data back to your case management system. Your CMS remains the single source of truth, ensuring data integrity and control.

  • Security: Eve uses secure, encrypted connections for all integrations and adheres to strict access controls and compliance standards, including HIPAA and SOC2. Only authorized data is accessed.

  • Pricing: Eve does not charge for integrations. However, some case management software providers may charge fees for API access, data export capabilities, or premium integration features. Any such fees are determined by that provider and are outside of Eve's control.

  • Multiple Integrations: You cannot connect multiple case management systems to a single Eve account. However, you can use one CMS and one Document Management System (DMS) together.
