What Are Playbooks in Eve
Last updated: March 10, 2026
Overview
Playbooks are saved prompts that can be reused for common tasks in Eve. They provide a standardized starting point for working with Eve, typically achieving 80-90% completion of a task without requiring you to write instructions from scratch each time.
How It Works
Playbooks allow you to save effective conversation prompts that have worked well for specific tasks, then reuse them across different matters or sessions. Instead of rewriting detailed instructions every time you need to perform a similar task—like drafting a demand letter, analyzing medical records, or evaluating liability—you can load a Playbook and apply it immediately. This ensures consistency in your outputs and reduces the time spent crafting prompts.
When you use a Playbook, Eve applies the saved instructions to the current matter's documents and context. You can then refine Eve's response through follow-up conversation if the task requires additional customization for that specific case.
