Homepage

Overview
The Homepage is where Eve users manage their day across all their cases in one place. Instead of checking cases one-by-one, users see agent outputs, Auditor insights, and recently worked matters all from one surface. This centralized landing experience helps users see important updates and jump back into the right matter without hunting through individual cases.

The Homepage is primarily for paralegals and case managers who initiate and monitor long-running work across many matters. Attorneys are secondary users who need to review major milestones and completed work. Most paralegals manage 40–60 cases and attorneys oversee 30–50, so key work goes unseen when it only surfaces inside a single matter.
How It Works
Location
The Homepage appears as a new "Home" tab in the Eve sidebar. This is where users land when logging in.

Architecture
The Homepage contains four major sections that help users navigate their work:

Search Bar

A place where users can search for any matter without going to the All Matters page. Eve suggests recent matters before users even start typing, helping them find the right matter faster.

Jump Back In Section (Recent Matters)

This section lists the recent matters you have worked on, based on your latest activity, such as sending a message, running an agent, or doing other work-related actions. Note: Clicking into a matter does not count as activity.
Users can click "View all matters" to go directly to the All Matters page, or create a new matter from here. Each card shows the matter title, the time of the last activity, and the session it was in. Users can click the card to open the matter or click the session (chat icon) to go directly to that session.

Notifications Section

This section is the same as the global notifications. The main difference is that, instead of viewing notifications by task name, you view them by matter name, with the task nested under the matter.
Notifications are user-level, not matter- or firm-level, so anything that is only related to or initiated by you will be in your notifications. These are tied to your matters, and the intended recipients are the ones who initiated the task. Notification items will deep-link you directly to the relevant matter and open the session where the agent or auditor completed work, reducing clicks and making it obvious what changed and where to review it.
Agent Activity Section

This is agent activity across matters, so it is not user-level. It is firm- and matter-level. You will only see Agent Activity for matters you are part of or own. When you click an activity item, you will be taken to the matter and the session the agent was working in.
Key Terms
Notifications: The user-level feed for "things you should know or act on" — items scoped to your matters, with unread/read states and quick review options. Notifications link into the underlying Agent Activity event so there is one source of truth.
Agent Activity: The firm-level audit log for "everything agents did" across matters — a reliable historical record used for oversight, debugging, and reporting. This surfaces work from all matters you are part of or own, not just matters where you initiated tasks.
Jump Back In: The section showing recent matters based on your latest activity, such as sending a message, running an agent, or doing other work-related actions. Clicking into a matter does not count as activity for this section.
