Medical Overview Alert

Overview

The Medical Overview Alert is a notification that appears in Eve when new medical records are uploaded and no current Medical Overview exists to structure that data. It prompts you to run or re-run a Medical Overview so Eve can build a structured timeline, identify providers and key encounters, link bills to visits, and answer medical questions with the right context.

How It Works

Real-Time Document Detection

When documents are uploaded to a matter, Eve classifies them instantly. If Eve detects that the uploaded documents are medical records, it checks whether a Medical Overview exists and whether it includes those new documents.

Automatic Alert Trigger

The Medical Overview Alert appears automatically when either:

• No Medical Overview has been run on the matter, or

• New medical documents were uploaded after the most recent Medical Overview was completed

The alert appears on the matter details page and remains visible until a Medical Overview is run or re-run to include the new documents.

Running or Re-Running the Medical Overview

From the matter details page, you can select the button shown in the alert to generate or regenerate the Medical Overview. You will be guided through setup steps, including selecting which documents to include. While the overview is running, Eve displays a loading indicator and status updates.

Ongoing Alert Support

If additional medical records are uploaded after a Medical Overview is completed, the alert will reappear and prompt you to re-run the Medical Overview. This ensures the chronology, provider list, and damages analysis stay current as new documents arrive.
