How to Navigate Matter Views in Eve

Overview
The Matters page is where your firm's active matters live. It has three views, each filtering the same set of matters by your relationship to them, plus a Closed tab for archived matters.
Whichever view you use most can be set as the default so Eve opens to it every time.
The Three Views
View | What it shows | Use it for |

My Matters | Matters you created, plus matters shared with you as a collaborator. | Your own active caseload. |
Favorites | Matters you have starred. Any matter you can access can be starred, whoever created it. | High-priority cases and matters you open repeatedly. |
All Matters | Every matter at the firm your permissions allow you to see. | Firm-wide visibility and picking up a colleague's case. |
Set Your Default View
Open the view you want as the default. Go to My Matters, Favorites or All Matters.
Select Set Default View. Eve opens to this view on every subsequent login.
Repeat the same two steps from a different view to change it.
What These Views Do Not Do
They do not change who can see a matter. Visibility is set by sharing. See 📄 How to Share a Matter with Team Members in Eve.
