Agent Activity, Notifications, and Output

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Overview

Agent Activity is a log of actions or tasks conducted by agents or users within Eve on your matters. Activity surfaces what Auto Agents have done in the background and provides a unified view of agent output, user sessions, and Auditor findings across all matters or within a single matter. Notifications are user-specific alerts that ping you when certain long-running tasks complete.

How It Works

Eve separates Activity (what happened on matters) from Notifications (alerts sent to specific users). Activity is matter-specific and visible to all users with access to the matter. Notifications are user-specific and only appear for the person who initiated the task or needs to be alerted.

Activity

Activity includes:

  • Auto-Agent Activity — actions initiated by an Auto Agent when its trigger conditions are met (for example, new discovery uploaded triggers an agent to draft a response, or the Auditor detects a potentially undiagnosed TBI)

  • User Session Activity — actions initiated by a user, including manually run agents and chat sessions started by a user

Activity can be viewed in three places within Eve:

Cross-Matter Activity: Located under "Activity" on the sidebar navigation, below "Matters." This view shows all activity across every matter in the firm. Users can filter by "All Activity," "Auto-Agent," or "User Session" to narrow the view.

Matter Activity: Located within each matter page under "Activity," below "Case Knowledge." This view shows all activity related to a single matter, including past chat sessions and agent output specific to that matter.

Eve Homepage: Located under "Home" on the sidebar navigation. The homepage includes an "Agent Activity" section that surfaces important Auto Agent activity from across your matters. Clicking "View all" takes you to the Cross-Matter Activity page's "Auto Agent" tab.

Important Activity

Eve uses a built-in triage layer to identify which Auto Agent outputs are "Important" and should be surfaced prominently. Important activities are visually indicated by a teal-colored description. Users can click "Show important only" within the Cross-Matter Activity page to filter the view.

Eve flags an Auto Agent output as important if it produced one of the following:

  • A work product you need to review — a drafted letter, extracted case data, or a structured summary that requires human review before use

  • A problem or risk — significantly overdue record requests, missing documents, stalled follow-ups, or gaps that could affect a case

  • A contradiction in case data — conflicting information found in the matter (for example, a client listed as "still employed" but a termination notice exists in the file)

  • Something time-sensitive — approaching deadlines, expiring windows, or obligations coming due

Eve stays quiet if the agent ran a routine check and everything looks fine, or if the output requires no follow-up action. Drafting Auto Agents are always shown as important.

Importance is evaluated only for Auto Agents, not for agents that are manually run by users.

Notifications

Notifications are alerts sent to a specific user to grab their attention. They appear as a bell icon at the top of each page within Eve and on the Eve Homepage. Notifications are user-specific — if one user clicks into a notification and marks it as read, the same notification will still appear as unread for other users.

You will be notified of:

  • Medical Overview has updated and re-run completed

  • Matter has been activated from Leads

  • Long-running case tasks including when any manually-run Drafting Agent is completed, including Discovery Response Agents

Notifications have two user view states: Read and Unread. They also have execution states: In Progress, Completed, and Failed.
