Leads in Eve

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Overview

Leads are a separate workspace in Eve for prospective clients who have not yet signed. They are kept in their own view so your matters list stays focused on active, signed work, giving intake teams a dedicated place to review, follow up, and decide whether to sign a client.

How It Works

Leads function as a pre-matter workspace designed for intake and early evaluation. Most actions available in matters are also available in leads, but leads include additional lead-specific areas that help intake teams assess and qualify prospective clients before conversion.

Once a client signs, the lead is converted to a matter. After conversion, all information collected and generated in the lead—including sessions, files, calls, and the lead overview—remains available in the associated matter.

Key Terms

  • Lead Overview: A centralized, AI-assisted summary of the lead that includes a lead score, call score, and key client details pulled together in one place.

  • Lead Score: A numeric assessment of the lead's potential value or fit, with detailed explanations of what contributed to the score available in the lead score details section.

  • Call Score: A score generated from analysis of calls associated with the lead.

  • Intake Form: Structured intake information with conditional sections that appear based on what is relevant to the lead's case type or details.

  • Calls: Insights and analysis for calls associated with the lead, available within the lead workspace.

  • Matter: An active, signed case in Eve. Some features are available only once a lead becomes a matter.
