How to Connect Clio to Eve

Overview

This article walks you through connecting your Clio account to Eve so you can pull existing cases and their details into Eve. The integration requires administrator access to both Eve and Clio, and pulls data one-way from Clio into Eve. Once connected, your matters will sync automatically overnight.

Prerequisites

  • Administrator access to your Eve account

  • Administrator access to your Clio account

  • Login credentials for both platforms

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Integrations in Eve — Log into Eve and click Integrations in the left-hand navigation panel. This opens the integrations page where you can authorize connections to external platforms.

  2. Authorize the Clio Connection — Click the option to connect Clio. A new browser window will open prompting you to log into Clio and authorize Eve to access your account. Complete the login and follow the authorization steps until you see confirmation that the connection is successful. You can then close the authorization window.

  3. Wait for Initial Data Sync — Your Clio matters will be pulled into Eve overnight or over the weekend during the first automatic sync. Once the sync completes, imported matters will appear in your Eve matters list with a Clio connection icon next to the matter name. Matters created directly in Eve will not display this icon.
