High-Value Lead Not Appearing in Lead Rescue
Last updated: March 10, 2026
Overview
This article resolves the issue when a lead that appears to be high value is not showing up in the Lead Rescue tab. This typically occurs when the lead does not meet one or more of the criteria Eve uses to flag rescuable leads, even though the lead seems like it should qualify based on value alone.
Before You Start — Diagnosis
Confirm the following before attempting any fixes:
The lead record is accessible and you can view its current status
You have verified the lead's estimated case value in Eve
You can view the lead's call history and activity log
Fixes
Possible Cause: Lead Status Is Not Open
Cause: Lead Rescue only surfaces leads that are still open. If the lead has been closed, marked as lost, or moved to a different status, it will not appear in Lead Rescue regardless of its value.
Steps:
Open the lead record in Eve
Check the lead status field at the top of the lead overview
If the status is anything other than "Open" (for example, "Closed", "Lost", "Disqualified"), change the status back to "Open" if appropriate
Save the lead record
Expected Outcome: If the lead meets all other criteria (high value, has been called, has not signed), it should now appear in the Lead Rescue tab within a few minutes.
Possible Cause: Lead Has Not Been Called Yet
Cause: Lead Rescue only flags leads that have been contacted at least once. If no call has been logged for this lead, Eve will not surface it as rescuable even if the lead is high value and still open.
Steps:
Open the lead record in Eve
Review the activity log or call history section
Confirm whether any calls have been logged for this lead
If no calls appear, make the initial outreach call and log it in Eve
Refresh the Lead Rescue tab after logging the call
Expected Outcome: Once a call has been logged and the lead meets all other criteria, it should appear in Lead Rescue within a few minutes.
Possible Cause: Lead Has Already Signed
Cause: Lead Rescue is designed to surface leads that are at risk of being lost before they sign. If the lead has already signed a retainer agreement, Eve removes it from Lead Rescue because the lead has converted.
Steps:
Open the lead record in Eve
Check the signing status or retainer status field
Review the activity log for any entries indicating a signed agreement or conversion to client
If the lead has signed, no further action is needed—the lead has successfully converted and no longer needs rescue
Expected Outcome: If the lead has signed, it will not appear in Lead Rescue. This is expected behavior. If the signing status was incorrectly marked and the lead has not actually signed, update the status and the lead should reappear in Lead Rescue within a few minutes.
